- SCHEDULING: Schiff was seated in the U.S. Senate on December 9, 2024.
- CENSURE: In June 2023, the House of Representatives passed HR 521, by Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, which censured Schiff for "perpetuat[ing] false allegations from the Steele Dossier accusing numerous Trump associates of colluding with Russia" and "for misleading the American public and for conduct unbecoming of an elected Member of the House of Representatives" while serving as the Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
