The JoinCalifornia.com / Citizen Voter Project (collectively referred to as "the Project"), does not collect personal information about visitors to this site. The Project does collect IP addresses and other non-personally identifiable information for aggregated statistical purposes.

Biographical information for candidates and officeholders is obtained from candidates, their campaigns, websites, books and other public sources. No private information about candidates is available on the Project's website.

Email addresses submitted using the "Update Candidate" function are used to contact the submitter to clarify information. The email addresses will never be sold, transfered to another party, or used in any mass-emailing.
