  • PLACENAME: Congressman Sam Farr Plaza in Santa Cruz was named for Farr in June 2016 in recognition of his years in Congress.
  • In 1985, Farr was the target of an attempted recall led by Michael Bogatirev and Harry Snell. The recall failed to qualify for the ballot.
