Special Election
Special Elections to fill the seats vacated by State Senators Joseph Montoya (SD-26) and William P. Campbell (SD-31). Senator Montoya resigned after being convicted for extortion, racketeering, and money laundering. Senator Campbell Senator resigned to become President of the California Manufacturers Association (CMA).
