  • In 2009, Huff was the target of one attempted recall led by Paul Griffin. It failed to qualify for the ballot.
  • According to our research, Huff was born farther south than all but one other California-born state legislator. The only legislator born farther south (but within California) was Mary Salas, who was born in Chula Vista, which is three miles farther south than Calexico even though Chula Vista does not touch the Mexican border while Calexico does).
  • Mei Mei Huff was a 2012 Delegate to the Republican National Convention.
