  • In October 2006, Baugh called on Tan Nguyen to withdraw from the CD-47 race after Nguyen admitted that his campaign had sent out a mailer warning registered Democratic voters with hispanic surnames that if they were illegal immigrants, "voting in a federal election is a crime that could result in jail time."
  • CLOSE CONTEST: In the 2024 General Election, Baugh led Dave Min for three days after election day, falling behind on Friday, November 8th.
