- FATHER OF THE CODE: Fletcher and Hugh Burns authored SB 958 (1943), which established the California Government Code.
- PLACENAME: "Fletcher Parkway" in La Mesa and "Fletcher Hills" in El Cajon are named for Fletcher.
- His children held a number of political offices; Charles became a member of Congress, Lawrence served as a Deputy District Attorney in Alameda County, and Willis was the Founding Director of the Lake Cuyamaca Recreation and Park District.
