2007-2008: Member, Oakley Planning Commission
2008-2012: Member, Oakley City Council
2021: Resigned from the State Assembly on December 31.

  • LEGISLATION: Author of AB 63 (2017) which would expand the provisional licensing program to include legal adults. All new drivers, up to 20 years old, would be required to hold a provisional drivers license for a year before receiving their full license.
  • PLACENAME: A two-mile stretch of Highway 50 (near Pollock Pines) has been designated the "Stephanie Marie Frazier Memorial Highway". The freeway was named for Frazier's daughter Stephanie who died in an automobile accident there in December 2000. [SCR 22 (2007) by Senator Dave Cox]
  • Janet Frazier was a 2023 Woman of the Year (Senate District 7) [selected by Senator Steve Glazer].
