- LEGISLATION: Author of AB 63 (2017) which would expand the provisional licensing program to include legal adults. All new drivers, up to 20 years old, would be required to hold a provisional drivers license for a year before receiving their full license.
- PLACENAME: A two-mile stretch of Highway 50 (near Pollock Pines) has been designated the "Stephanie Marie Frazier Memorial Highway". The freeway was named for Frazier's daughter Stephanie who died in an automobile accident there in December 2000. [SCR 22 (2007) by Senator Dave Cox]
