Candidate Biography:

• LEGAL TROUBLES: In 2007, the family of sophomore Chad Farnan sued Corbett (his teacher) and the Capistrano Unified School District after Corbett (during an "anti-Christian" classroom discussion) "suggested that Christians are more likely than other people to commit rape and murder." [Source] U.S. District Court Judge James Selna found that Corbett had violated Farnan's First Amendment rights, but the decision was overturned by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
