Edwin H. Zion
Born: October 2, 1879 in Nebraska
Died: December 23, 1940 in CA

1918-1926: Deputy District Attorney, Stanislaus County

  • NOTABLE NO VOTE: Zion was one of two no votes (both in the Assembly) for Senate Bill 683 (1931) which created the retirement system for state employees (today named CalPERS). The other was Robert F. Fisher.
