  • LEGISLATION: Author of ACR 31 (1883) which called for the creation of a creation of a committee to inquire into and report upon a plan for the preservation of the forests on the California short of Lake Bigler.
  • LEGISLATION: Author of AB 36 (1885) which created the California Board of Forestry.
