Candidate Biography:

Born: 1824 in Kentucky
Died: February 8, 1855 in San Francisco, CA

 

  • Lisle operated a ferry north of Sacramento on the American River. By 1855, the Ferry had been replaced by Lisle's Bridge (which was replaced in 1915 by the 16th Street Bridge over the American River).
