Died: October 14, 1878 in Cisco, CA

1860s: County Assessor, Placer County

  • Joined the Army during the Civil War and was stationed on Catalina Island.
  • OUCH: Patrick Mundy was killed in a sawmill accident near Emigrant Gap. A circular saw "burst" while he was running it and part of the blade severed an artery in his thigh, and he bled to death within an hour.
