Died: April 1, 1894 in North San Juan, CA

  • In 1847 he fought in Mexico in the battle at Churubusco, Molina Del Rey and Chapultepec.
  • Working as a ditch superintendent on June 18, 1883, Miller flashed the telephonic warning of the English dam breaking at 5 am.
