Born 1825 in Kentucky or 1822 in Tennessee
Military Service: Arizona Colonization Company (1857 Attempted Succession of the Republic of Sonora)
Died: October 8, 1867 in San Francisco, CA
- Wade was a member of the filibuster party (led by Henry A. Crabb) that attempted to split off part of northern Mexico into a separate "Republic of Sonora", but was not present for the Battle of Cavores. The battle continued for eight days, at the end of which Crabb surrendered with 58 men. Crabb and five other former California legislators were executed by firing squad the next day.
