Candidate Biography:

• According to the Trinity Journal, Chadbourne's nomination for State Senate was "one of the best ever made for that position by any party, since the organization of the Northern counties. Mr. Chadbourne is the senior partner of the law firm of Chadbourne & Miller, and ranks not only as one of the best lawyers in Northern California, but among the finest of the State. Such are the men who should be sent to make laws and represent the people in the State Senate, where the business of law-making is the object for which a representative is elected."
