  • In 1905, while serving as Chief Deputy Warfinger, Denny Coleman came into Tyrrell's office and pointed a loaded revolver at Tyrrell. Denny, who was drunk, had come to ask Tyrrell to help him find work. Tyrrell spoke with Denny for a few minutes and then escaped through a back door.
